Back before I was changing diapers and blogging about it, I used to work for a real life, brick & mortar company as a “Communications Specialist.” One of my responsibilities was PR, which included writing up web copy for the website, brochures for conferences and press releases for new products. I still enjoy that type of work, except now rather than writing about engineering software, I prefer to promote and review products that I would actually use, such as Wet Ones.
If you own a website or sell a product that caters to women like me or families like mine, then I just might be interested in writing a review for you. If you have a product you’d like me to review, all I ask is that you send me a free sample.
Policies regarding reviews:
1. I decide whether to review your product or website based on whether I would actually use it myself. I won’t promote things just for the freebies. For example, I will not review your new heavy metal album, but I might review your self-cleaning bib (does anyone make those? I wish!) I have to maintain some kind of integrity on my website, ya know?
2. When I write my review, I will use my own words (unless I like yours better, of course) and will express my honest unbiased opinion. Generally I am a “glass-half-full” type person, however, and believe that overwhelming negativity towards any product or idea is generally a reflection of the tester, not the product. In other words, as long as your product is not severely lacking in quality, it’s unlikely I’ll be trashing it.
